Q: Cholinergic urticaria and drug therapies

i have cholinergic urticaria but there is nothing happen in my body like patches etc. but every time after bath i have extreame itching on my entire body except face around one hour. this is a big problem for me since 1995. i have also itching in heats, exersize and runing but there is no patches. The skin is smooth its like normal.since five years the frequency of the desease is going on increasing and now a days it is very dificult to sevive. when the ithicing is going on i feel like go and kill ourself. can you help me for that

It is possible that all the symptoms you reported may be related to cholinergic urticaria. Avoiding the triggers might help you to reduce the itching.

Drug therapy includes regularly taking antihistamines. Tricyclic antidepressants such as doxepin also are often potent H1 and H2 antagonists and may have a role in therapy, although side effects limit their use.
