Q: Choking
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 22nd, 2008
I saw my father, sister and brother in law die before my eyes, watched as they're last breathe left their bodies. I'm afraid now of falling asleep because I may choke on my own saliva. Is it because i'm menopausing or is it possible I choke?

You can’t choke from your own saliva! You probably can’t sleep because you are too anxious. Menopause can make your anxiety worse.
