i have just found out that i have chlaymedia and me and husbaand have been trying to have a baby. i am just wondering if there is still a chance that a woman can get preganant if she has it ? i am now on the pill for the treatment but my husband and myself really wants a little one. i am going to the ob/ gyn next week and the fertility clinic also next week but i am just wondering is there any hope ? because i don't know how long i have it maaybe a yr which i hope not.

You can get pregnant still, depending on any damage the chlamydia may have done. Your OB/GYN or fertility specialist should be able to determine your risks. If you have it actively right now, it would be best to finish the treatment for it before trying to conceive. I am unsure if it affects a fetus, and am also unsure as how medicines used to treat it could affect a fetus, but am pretty sure it can affect the fetus during delivery.
