Chlamydia.

How long can someone have chlamydia? I have heard that you can have it for some years and not notice it.
I left a full term relationship 7 years ago now. The relationship broke down because my ex-wife was sleeping around. She had un-protected sex with a number of men.
I have not slept with anyone since, but have now met someone and I am worried that I may have something that I could pass on to her.
Is this a needless worry or should I get myself tested? So far I haven't noticed any symptons.

Usually men get symptoms more than women, but clamidia is known as the silent s.T.I as you can have it without symptoms. If I were you I would go and get yourself checked out in case you do have it, the next woman will not appreciate you giving her an s.T.I.

Better to be safe than sorry!

Oh and yes you can have it for years without noticing. It harms the woman more than man, so yeah like I said before. Get yourself checked out. Your aspose to have a check every year anyway.
