i have recently found out my partner had caught clamydia before he was with me and that he was treated with tablets i know he dosnt have any stis now as we both got tested at the beginning of our relationship but i was wondering is it possible for it to come back even if it was treated and caould my parner be infertile because of it?

It is a good thing the both of you got tested. That was very very smart. To be on the safe side, I think the two of you should practice safe sex for a while. As far as the infertility and return of the infection, I suggest you discuss that with your doctor.

Any time you are planning to have a child, no matter what the situation is (previous clamydia or not), both partners should go to the doctor and be tested for genetic disorders, inherited traits, and you should both be tested for fertility. Including the doctor in parenthood planning is the best thing for mommy and baby. Sometimes women or men could have conditions that make pregnancy difficult, and sometimes these things can cause problems for the child. I'm not trying to scare you, and this doesn't have alot to do with your question, but a doctor visit is the best thing. Good luck, I hope this helped.
