Q: chlamydia and fertility

Hi,

I had chlamydia about four months ago i have got treated for it, but i had it for about four months without knowing it, i just want to know if four months of having this infection will it affect my fertility?

From what I understood from the articles I read, it is not chlamydia that causes sterility. When chlamydia is untreated for a long time it can turn into PID, pelvic inflammatory disease. PID is what causes sterility. So if your disease has not developed into PID, you should be all right.
