Hopeless 09!!!

I went to see a doctor for a chat about about all of this and he assured me that it is very rare for chlamydia to cause infertility and it only causes infertility if it becomes PID (pelvic inflamatory disease) I have learnt not to worry about it now and just getting on with my life and i am now positive that one day i will be blessed with a child.

Keep in mind that the two most common treatments for Chlamydia are:

1) 10 days of doxycycline
2) single dose of azithromycin

And even though either one of these are effective against Chlamydia it is not 100% -- so it is important to get retested at a later point to confirm that the bacteria has been eradicated even if you are asymptomatic.

Yes I was treated with 1 week of doxycycline twice a day.
