I've got so many questions I dont even
know where to begin.
I've been binging and puking once a day
for two months now. Would I have the
chipmunk cheeks by now? How long does it
take until your body shows signs of
bulimic behaviour?
How long does it take until the teeth get
all yellow? Are we talking about weeks, or
months?
How about abdominal pain?
I realize I have a problem and I want to
get better. For the past two days I have
binged but now puked at all. I feel like
my face has changed, it looks all puffy,
but I dunno if I am just imagining (i
didnt think it would show signs after only
two months of puking)..

I think it really depends on the person
and their body's response to the purging.
I was bulimic in high school and some of
college, I'm now 25 and have not purged in
about 5 years. Anyway, I started out very
slowy with purging, only after a
particularly fattening binge, so I did not
show any immediate signs. For me the
chipmunk cheeks came in spells, for
example if I went on a total binge/purge
session for a weekend, by Monday I would
have the cheeks. I hope that some what
answeres your question.

temporary that disappears after a period
of time? or is it something permament that
never goes away once you've got them.
how can i know if i have got the chipmunk
cheeks? i've noticed my face seems all
puffy, but i dunno if i am just imagining
it. note, my face is puffy, not
necessarily my cheeks.

My face would just look puffy...it goes
away when you quit purging....my cheeks
are completely normal now.
