I am 28 yrs old , father passed away of heart disease in march and in January I was diagnosed with athletic heart. Lately I have been getting chest pains and sharp pains running up and down my left arm. I am under tremendous stress daily. I am a 6ft 230lbs natural body builder.

I am wondering of it is effects of Costochondiritis on Fibromyalgia or beginnings of anxiety. I had my blood pressure taken and under stressed condition it is 140 over 80. Normal conditions 120-130/80 so blood pressure is relatively good. Trouble sleeping at night.

My Dr doesn't want to prescribe me anything for blood pressure which is fine but I asked him for ambien or even zanex. He told me to take tylenol pms.

He says I am relatively normal need to drop 20 lbs.

Curious if anyone had some insight.

Thank you

Did you tell your doctor about the pain? Your blood pressure doesn't seem like something to worry about.

yes, but I don't trust Doctor's cause they are quick to open you up. I literally saved my mother's life this week. She was rushed to the e.r. for chest pain, rushed to a crappy hospital , before they did a stress test they wanted to do a bypass, I had an argument with the Dr. Signed her out brought her to an excellent hospital, took stress test and stress test. Everything negative.

I am hoping its anxiety, I can deal with it.

Thank you for your response.

=)

Also- I wouldn't recommend taking Tylenol pms to moderate your anxiety- sheesh, what a suggestion. I would recommend a second opinion.
