I ate some hot beans (hot as in the temperature not spicy) and it felt like it went down wrong I felt a burning in my throat and on my right side chest and felt dizzy. The pain in the chest stared there throughout the night, the next morning the pain in my chest was still there along with a sore throat. It has been 3 days now and the same pain on chest and throat are still there, hurts when i swallow, eat, and even when I am doing nothing I will get that sudden sharp pain in chest. Any advice?

Extremely eHealthy
Severe pain in your midchest that comes suddenly and lasts for couple of seconds, is result of esophageal spasm or uncoordinated muscle contraction of esophageal wall.
Chest pain is a common symptom of esophageal spasms.
They can lead to chronic swallowing problems and may be treated with certain drugs that will lead to muscles relaxation.
One of the reason for the spasms is consumption of very hot or cold food or drink.
Avoid hot, cold or spicy foods, large meals, or foods with a high acid content.
For your sore throat try gargling three to six times in 24 hours with warm salt solution.

Best wishes!
