Q: Chest Pain

My daughter's 17 year old boyfriend is having mild to severe pains in is chest near his sternum. Nothing in paticular brings them on. He has gone to his family doctor but has no solution yet. Does anyone have any idea's?

It's difficult to say with such little info. Sometimes gas can cause pain in that area of the chest. Even nerves can cause pain. His doctor will probably do an EKG to make sure he doesn't have any problems with his heart. An EKG and a cardiologist will be able to find the answer for you.
