I took an early pregnancy test, it didn't seem to be working, so I threw it in the trash. I took other ones, they came back negative. Then I changed my trash a week later, and looked at the test in the trash that didn't seem to work, it showed a positive result.
So, I took a couple of other at home pregnancy tests, results are negative.
Maybe I had a very early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy, but then why didn't I get my period yet? It is almost a week past due? If I had a very early miscarriage wouldn't I get my period right away?
I do drink a lot of liquids through out the day, so my urine could of been too diluted when I took the tests.
I just want to find out so if I go out on the weekends, I know not to drink or anything and can start taking care of what I eat etc.

My period came late, it started out a light pink color then got heavy. Could of been a chemical pregnancy. At least I can relax now.

Kettle, you cannot read an old test after the time in the instructions. Most of them will show positive later. That is why it is important to follow the instructions.

With a Chemical pregnancy you should expect lighter bleeding, not heavier bleeding. I know it does not sound right but that is the way it is.

There are many reasons why your period could have been late. Pregnancy is just one reason.

Best of luck!
