How can you check a condom before you put it on? I want to be safe and I want my girlfriend to be safe, so can anybody tell me how to check a condom.

You just check to make sure the expiration date has not expired, make sure the foil package does not have a tear or damage. If the concom feels really dry or really sticky it has probably been stored in the wrong place (wallet, glove box, back pocket, near heat, left in the sun...) and should not be used.
