I have a large mole on my leg about 10-11mm, it seems to have changed shape from oval to square. it also has a few different colours brown, dark brown, red and white. it seems to have red around the edge like it look a bit sore, it has hairs growing out of it and is on the top of my leg. i can see the different colours clearly on a photos my husband took and was zoomed in.
I did show my doctor and he said it looks fine but to keep an eye on it.
I still feel a bit concerned due to the size and changes. your advice would be much appreciated. thank you. I have posted this question to the doctors section so i hope it's ok to post here as well, i am new to this forum.
please see photos.

If you showed your doctor and she said it looks fine, you should relax. Just keep an eye on it like she said.

Asymmetry, irregular border, variations of colors (as in purples, whites, blacks, blues, greens), and diameter are the factors that doctors use to identify problematic moles.
Your mole looks benign to me, but I am no expert.
I only studied this in classes.

If you are concerned about the mole becoming cancerous, my advice would be to go ahead and have it removed while it is early.
This way, the chances of developing melanoma are dramatically reduced. Make sure to keep a high-factor sunscreen on that area until then.
