Dear Dr.

I have been on ortho novum for 25 years and it has worked great with regards to regulating my periods, less bleeding and less pain monthly, also, no weight gain. Last year I tried the brand Seasonique, I blew up almost overnight. I went from 140 to 170, I have always worked out daily, I eat healthy and take vitamins. I went off it right away and went back to ortho-novum but the weight will not budge, no matter what I do, I have heard of this happening to a lot of people on Depo. Any thoughts on this and any suggestions as to how to get my metabolism back to normal? I did have a number of tests done including thyroid, all normal.
