hello,

i'm 20 years old. i usually have my period on the 10th of every month. this year, i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 8th of May... my mom had given me a pill to delay my period a day before that, that is the 7th... i had an i-pill within 24 hours of the unprotected sex, but i had a light period that month. however, i was undergoing a huge amount of stress.

the next month, that is, june, i completely missed my period. my mom does not know about me having sex, however she was worried tht i missed my period so she took me to a gynaecologist on the 24th of that mont(July). i got a home pregnancy test on the 23rd which was negative... the gynaecologist did a blood test and sonography but both were normal and so the doctor said it was smoking and stress... (i had been smoking/drinking heavily and was under quite a lot of stress). i got my period in july and august and this month, however they have been slightly longer and heavier than usual...

is it possible that i could be pregnant? is it possible that the gynaec overlooked the pregnancy? especially because the gynaec is my family doctor so she wasnt looking fr pregnancy...

pls help... im very worried...

It sounds like the answer is no. You took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Blood tests are not wrong and nothing was overlooked.

You aren't pregnant.
