Q: Chances of having lichen sclerosis
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 3rd, 2009
Hi again, this is an add on to my message a few minutes ago after doing some more research ... it sounds like I might have had Lichen Sclerosis? I remember at the time 10 years ago, I noticed this hole because the area was very itchy.

Lichen sclerosis is characterized by multiple lesions causing multiple scars, whereas you describe only one scar. The chances that you have lichen sclerosis are minimal, but you might want to visit a dermatologist because the scars are easy to recognize by a more experienced dermatologist.
