I had my period Wednesday July 27- the following Tuesday. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex that Friday morning. He accidentally finished completely inside me. Two hours or less after the incident I took the first Next Choice Pill. 12 hours later, I took the second one as directed. I am 20 years old. What is the likeliness that I am pregnant?

If I calculate correctly, you had sex on cycle day 7. Typically if you have cycles around 26 days or longer, you will not be fertile on day 7.

You bumped into the danger from the pull-out technique. It is not pre-cum, it is your partner getting over excited or ejaculating unexpectedly. If you can absolutely not affortd to become pregnant, rather use a barrier or hormonal method. If you do not nt to o that, at least look at fertility awareness methods (FAM), or even the two day rule. That way you can at least manage the risk somewhat.

You can expect withdrawal bleeding 7 days after taking the pill, as well as a pretty confusing cycle or two. The fact that you get (or not) withdrawal bleeding, does not mean you are pregnant or not. It is just the way your body interacts with the high dose of hormones in Next Choice.

Best of luck

Well, I'm honestly not sure how long my cycle or any of that is. I guess my question is more of, what do you think the chances of me being pregnant are if I took the pills as directed and initially 2 hours after the instance? Like, does ovulation play a factor in the probability or not? Things like that. I'm extremely worried and I don't want to be pregnant.

You can take an early detection pregnancy test (like Early Results - not the digital one) 21 days after the sex.Use the second stick 7 days later to confirm the results.

There is only a very very small chance that you can be pregnant from what you are describing.

Best of luck!

It's been exactly 15 days since the incident. I haven't had any bleeding or symptoms that are pregnancy like, but today I noticed a sticky dark brown discharge. What does this mean?

Hey guys, it's been officially two weeks and I've had no signs of spotting or bleeding. Yesterday, (I know this will sound gross) after urinating, I noticed what looked like possibly uterine lining shed in the toilet bowl.

Is this normal?

I would not think so. Normally you are not fertile that close to your period, and you took ECP.

When that hormones hit your body, it did however interfere with what your body was doing. So it should have stopped menstruation leading to this strange thing going on now.

Take care

Took Next Choice after 2 days....
I also took next choice but I am very nervous...me and bf have beeen going at it like rabbits. It all happened a week before my pd. We used condoms and only one day we used the pull out method which was on July 11th and I wasn't able to get the pill until July 13th.

My period was scheduled to come July 18, I'm worried I can be pregnant but I'm not sure because my period is never late like this! I have no signs of blood but I have had tender breasts and cramps like a period but no bleeding.
