i recently spent the weekend with my hiv boyfriend. we lay and hugged and kissed all night. in the afternoon of the next day he came on my penis (mainly on the shaft) then almost immediately afterwards i had a hot shower. I know he is on medication and that his viral load is like undetectable and i am now on the pep program (within 24 hours) and await the results of my hiv test. What do you think the chances are that i have it?
I am only 19 and im worrying myself sick here.

thankyou

It's tough to say what your chances are but the fact that he came on the shaft and not the tip I would say that your chances are very low if you had no way for the fluids to enter your body (a cut, or herpes lesion for example). Even if your partner is undetectable you two should be using condoms each time you engage in sexual activities.

Also it can take as little as 3 weeks, and as long as 6 months to get a positive HIV result. But, I am going to predict a negative result based on this incident alone. GOOD LUCK!!!
