It can/will vary from person to person and from cycle to cycle. There are many things that can effect your cm, so it's just one big variable.
Personally, I had 2 days of it last week (when I hopefully o'ed).

Everyone can have it for different lengths of time. Actually you always have cervical mucous, but it varies in color, elasticity and amount. Of course it is the most in amount and elasticity on your day of ovulation. I've had sometimes where I can't tell what day my ovulation is because it is the same for almost a week. So I would day anywhere from a few days to a week that it could be "egg whitish" and thick.

You know I'm on my mid cycle and cm is like the fertile time but the thing is I'm doing the ovulation strip testing and is not positive yet. Wonder why?

Maybe you aren't ovulating? I mean like because you don't necessarily drop an egg every month? Just a guess...but then how would the opk know that.

True. Well I'll keep using them until for another week and see what happens. Either way I'll continue to enjoy the baby making
