Q: cervical mucous and pregnancy

I bought the clear blue easy fertility monitor. During my high and peak fertile days, my husband and I made love, but my cervical mucous was not slippery like egg whites. It did peak slightly on thumb and forefinger, but nothing as I've seen online like stating 1-10 inches. It is possible to conceive w/o a lot of mucous?
