I had colposcopy done and endocervical sampling after pap showed abnormal endocervical cells. Endocervical canal curettings report stated:"Fragments of severely inflamed tissue form the cervical transformation zone. No devinite squamous dysplasia is seen. THe endocervical glands show reactive changes. Abundant bacterial colonies of ? significance are seen.' The doctor put me on doxycycline for 10 days. Could this be from trauma to the cervix from overzealous intercourse, an STD or what. And should there be any further follow up

It sounds like the doctor is taking care of it. When did s/he say your next pap should be?
