Would you like to explain me exactly what kind of medical procedure you had undergone before the heart attack happened and why?

Extremely eHealthy
Dr. Nikola asked you some very good questions.

I have not heard of a cervical epidural causing a heart attack, but have heard that one can have symptoms in the chest that can make one think they are having a heart attack.

It may very well have been just a coincidence as well. If you had an undetected heart problem, something with the valves that can be difficult to detect, the steroid, if you had one could have created a problem. So could the stress that you felt prior to the epidural as well.

I know people that have had epidural steroid injections for spinal problems as well as lumbar ones after having had a heart attack with no problems.

I had a cervical epidural in my neck, c3,c4 I was involved in a major auto accident where a loaded dump truck hit me broadside as he ran the red light and hit me broadside at 50mph.
since then I have had a pain mgt dr and most of my therapy has been cervical periferal nerve catheraization, coortizone shots, 2 3 months ago
and then I had a hospital dr do the 3rd on in my cervical.
I felt really hot sweaty afterwards went and got some lunch , i was starving, and then i suffered a knot directly at the sternum.
I felt light headed and my wife with medical training call the paramedics right away and then 1 day later angioplasti showed a 99 % blockage in my LAD.
every time my BP was taken at all of these proceedured were almost at stroke level bp, the continued anyway all spinal proceedures were scary to me and painful.
any help , insite or connections would be appreciated Dr Nikola

Heart attack is caused by blood clothing (trombosis) in the coronary arteries. Trombosis occurs on places where there is an atherosclerotic plaque atached on the inner side of the artery wall. Atherosclerosis is related with the folowing risk factors: male sex, older age, genetic inheritage, high blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, high cholesterol level, stress, low physical activity, overweight etc.

Atherosclerosis and heart attack can't be caused by any medical procedure performed on the neck spine. So, I strongly believe that your heart attack soon after the spinal procedure is only a coincidence.

Then Why sir
Did I sign waivers, warnings DIRECTLY warning of stroke or heart attack.
In all documents on the web about cerv epidurals it warns of many other horrible threat to ones health.
my bp fluculates from hight to low and extreemly high when strapped on table, my bp was above stage 3 when I entered my surgury room, and I didnt feel right that morning.
sure It my have been emminant, but I feel it was to much for me and my body and it broke at the weakest link.
I beg to diagree, it was a contrubuting factor that agitatated my cardio vacular system and took a heart that was unknown and un tested that I had this condition.
And Dr's performing cervical epidurals should be required to have patients be seen by a cardiologist prior to performing any stressfull proceedures
Thank You
and God Bless
