Hello my friends,
I hope you guys didn't think I left this forum, no way no how. Even if everything does turn out well I'm not going anywhere, the support you guys have been giving me is more than anyone could ask for. I don't even know any of you guys but I'll tell YOU ALL this you are no doubt my best friends in the world and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. This forum is what's kept me together these past 7 months with out you guys I don't know where I'd be right now.

Depressedman, congratulations on finding what's wrong with you, and I hope all is well. I went in yesterday and had a upper endoscopy done by my G.I. Dr. they said everything looked normal. He did a biopsy to test me for H. Pylori and I should have the results in about a week. You know in a strange way I hope it's positive so I can get treated and move on with my life.

Ustas, same with you man I wish nothing but the best for you and speedy recovery let us know how your doing.

Adviseme, hang in there man your gonna be fine I promise you.

EVERYONE, get tested for H. Pylori this might be the break we are all looking for.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately guys I've been putting in lots of ours at work 72-76 hours per week. I'm just burnt out and still stuck in a rut. I think I might start getting somewhere with this dr. though. He did tell my wife after the procedure that he was gonna do some more tests on me because I told him about the moucus in my stools. I will keep you guys updated on everything trust me.

By the way Ustas, and Depressedman, did you guys experience different colored stools with moucus or just totally different bowel movements?

Good luck to everyone and god bless all of you.

Ustas,

I have all of your symptoms, so I hope that whatever helps you will help me as well. Like DFrank asked, what method did they use to test you?

Scared,

Glad to see that you're still around - my stools are shot too, when I have a normal one, I literally thank God. This disease is no picnic.

Best wishes to everyone.

I will out of town for about a week, so I don't know if I will have access to this thread. I am happy that so many of you are getting tests done to find answers - your efforts benefit everyone here, so thank you very much for that. Please continue share the results of your testing / treatment so that the rest of us can learn from your progress.

Best wishes / Tony

Try and have a good trip tony. I was negative for h- pylori & my general blood work looked good. My lymphocytes are back up in normal range, and neutraphils are also back in normal range. I see the infectious disease specialist tomorrow, and will update you guys with what he says. Also I will be asking for the htlv test among others. Hope you all doing better!

asy111, Yea i have checked this myself before.
You can find this on my previous thread.
I had all symp[toms dosent looks its true. Though i had all symptoms listed on this tongue, weakness, leg dermatise.even more.
There was one user by name overstressed in someforum talking on this. if you google overstressed, adis like virus you will find those thread.

The symptoms mentioned here match to HTLV and not HIV.
The fact that symptoms start within few hous as early as 2 days. HIV symptoms do not start that early.

Guys thanks for your wishes on my trip - I was able to log in remotely & read the latest posts.

Dfrank definitely let us know how your future testing goes - you're years ahead of us in experiencing symptoms, so you're very important.

Dman you need to take your medication religiously or it might not work! Are you allowed to eat with the medication? I'm asking because that's what stopped me from taking Lyme disease medication last year (not being allowed to eat with the medication).

Anyone who can't access this thread remotely should remember that I paid for a site with forum (HTLVhelp).

Best wishes.

Hey guys, I went to the infectious disease dr. Yesterday and he was great. Seemed very intelligent and was training a intern also. He sat down with me face to face and wrote down everything i had to say. Seemed very interested in my situation. He agreed to test for anything i wanted to see or rule it out. Htlv1&2, brucella, cmv, fungal panel for candidiasis, and a few other things. I forgot to mention Lyme though, but he said to call if I needed anything else, so I will. Also been reading up on candidiasis. It can make you very ill. I went on a small 2 day cleanse ( dr oz ) and cut out carbs and sugars as the candidiasis diet says and I feel better already. So does my lady. I will let you know as soon as I get the results. He said some could take a couple of weeks. Also before he looked at any of my recent labs, I told him my symptoms and my girlfriends as he right away asked me if I had an HIV test. I then showed him my labs and 4 HIV negative results and he so no way I have it, & he treats most people in my area for it he said. Feel really positive about this compared to my lame duck GP doctor.. Hope all is better with you guys!
