Hi guys,

I went to my new GP today.
She's great. She wanted to keep with her all the documentation concerning my tests and study my case. I gave her the phone number of the ID specialist that had followed my case in the last months and she will talk to her, too.

We talked for about 40 min, and she was very impressed by everything I've gone thru in the past months.
She mentioned several interesting things:
- Very possibly an infection (could be anything and won't be easy to discover), triggering autoimmune reactions in my body (in my case, demyelinating disease, since all the symptoms match with it :'( ). She also said my skin rashes look very much like HIV / Rheum diseases (which we known can be triggered by htlv)
- Chronic Fatigue syndrome; she will get in touch with a CFS center close to my city and refer me to it.
- We'll do further infectious tests, and hematological and neurological exams.. and possibly more. She's sure there's something more that can be done

She said she'll try her best to help me… I really appreciated that and wasn't expecting all of this by a 'normal' GP.
I think she was very impressed by my young age, too… Sad

I told her about HTLV, Lyme, etc… we'll go deeper into that.

Hopefully things will improve or at least they won't get much worse than they are.

Thank u,

Best

hi Feng, ni hao ma?
i have the same problems and tested negative for hiv1/2 till 13 months i and my wife.
there is a virus in China which is hiv-like
and i was positive for mycoplasma/ureaplasma it was a semen culture . you need to do a semen culture for air and no air bacteria. mycoplasma is the one bothering us i believe.

Hi EMIG,

yes, in China, we cause the virus is hiv-like or negative hiv. I don't think it is mycoplasma/ureaplasma though you get positive mycoplasma/ureaplasma. as I know, some people get positive mycoplasma/ureaplasma, but most are negative. and positive mycoplasma/ureaplasma can be cure, but Symptom is still exit.

you can search for mycoplasma symptoms . it does what we have , rash, body pain headache, fever sometimes, and many things, mycoplasma is the smallest bacteria ever and it has no cell cover so it is hard to be found also hard to be treated.
hiv-like virus makes the cd4 count and % less and increases cd8 count and percentage which affects the ratio,.. many people i know they have the same, low cd4/cd8 ratio and they test negative for hiv1/2 elisa and undetectable pcr.
i have tested negative hiv1/2 elisa and hiv antigen/antibody cmia, for 13 months. my cd4/cd8 ratio and count are up and down always so it is something that really in the body but not hiv because hiv1/2 and hiv1+O/2 rapid and elisa and Cobas all negative for 13 months, and also my wife negative till 12 months, i made over 50 time tests.
it must be another virus or non air bacteria.
ok i started ozone treatment for 10 times, i felt much better, much better really. after that i could walk and go outside for hours ... i had ozone treatment by autotherapy and anal ozone and sauna. you can do the same in China, which city do you live? close to shanghai? shanghai and beijing have the hiv-like so many cases there.

Hi EMIG,

I have tested hiv more than 10 times. all of them are negative. I also test all types of STD, the result is also negative(include ureaplasma). Regarding xmrv, I don't think so, because some of people is tested, all of them are negative. IMO, it should be a new virus. but we don't know what is it?

Feng,

I had written you a long reply, but the web site lost it, as usual, which is frustrating. As I've written in the past, supplements (both vitamins and antivirals) are very important for battling this virus; while not a cure, they go a long way in reducing the pain and suffering it causes. In addition, anti-iflammatory compounds go a long way in battling this virus, since it thrives on inflammation. I am theorizing that this virus could be cured if it was possible to turn off ALL inflammation responses in the body for long enough that the virus burns itself out.

Here's a list of supplements I take every morning - when I skip them, the pain (inflammation) soars:

1. Chinese Skullcap
2. Licorice Root
3. Olive leaf
4. Vitamin C 1,000mg
5. Resveratrol with garlic
6. Green tea
7. Multivitamin
8. Tumeric / Curcumin
9. Pau D'arco
10. Lysine

Recall that Vitamin B derivatives (Prosultiamine) are effective against HTLV, but I am not able to access Prosultiamine in my country, but it is available in Asia.

The latest article that I posted on the face book HTLVhelp page references cepharanthine, an anti-inflammatory that is used in some anti-hair loss products. Since HTLV causes hair loss, this might be a double benefit supplement.

Best wishes.

HI ALL,
This is some news which we were waiting for:

MP Biomedicals Receives First Ever FDA Approval for HTLV Confirmatory Assay
11th December, 2014 7:50pm

MP Biomedicals, LLC, a leading provider of life science reagents, fine chemicals and diagnostic products, announced today that it has received FDA approval on the MP Diagnostics HTLV (Human T-Cell Lymphotropic Virus) Blot 2.4, a Western Blot for HTLV confirmatory testing and viral type discrimination. This approval signifies the first ever FDA approved HTLV confirmatory assay in the United States.

MP Biomedicals continues to be a leader in immunoblot confirmatory diagnostics with over 25 years of research and development in Immunoblot products. Immunoblot assays have stood the test of time, surpassing its competitors in delivering high-performance results. Many worldwide experts consider the MP Biomedicals immunoblot product line the benchmark in confirmatory diagnostics.

An important differentiator of the HTLV Blot 2.4 design is the incorporation of the patented GD21 recombinant envelope protein, recombinant proteins specific to HTLV-I and HTLV-II, and HTLV viral lysate. Sensitivity and specificity are greatly enhanced, providing laboratories with reliable results for both conformation and differentiation between HTLV-I and HTLV-II infections. This information is crucial when counseling infected individuals, due to the different health implications of the two HTLV viral types.

“This marks the first FDA-approved infectious disease assay in the company’s product portfolio, and we plan to continue building on this milestone,” said Milan Panic, Chairman and CEO. “Our focus on quality remains our top priority.”

HTLV is a retrovirus which predominantly infects human T-lymphocytes. While the vast majority of people infected with HTLV are asymptomatic carriers, HTLV infection is known to cause Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) and HTLV-I associated myelopathy (HAM) in some patients. HTLV can be transmitted through unprotected sexual contact; from an infected mother to her baby by prolonged breast feeding; sharing of needles by drug users; and transfusion of infected donor blood.

About MP Biomedicals, LLC

MP Biomedicals is a worldwide corporation headquartered in Southern California, with ISO-certified and FDA-approved manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout the globe. MP Biomedicals manufactures and sells more than 55,000 products and is one of the only companies in the industry to offer a comprehensive line of life science, fine chemical and diagnostic products. MP Biomedicals has a long-standing history of marketing high-quality diagnostic products, including Western Blots, ELISAs, Rapid tests and analyzer solutions. A vast network of global distributors, satellite facilities and offices throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas ensures product delivery whenever and wherever needed.

msa,

Neurological symptoms have been the most relevant in my case.
These included:
- Severe dizziness
- Light head
- Leg pain
- Back pain
- Confusion
- Difficulty in finding words
- Wrong words spelling
- Bladder involvement (urgency)

etc…

The most part has gone. Now I'm mostly dealing with leg weakness. I've had some minor balance issues, however it is fixing by itself (no, I've never fallen down).

I'm taking a lot of neuro-supplements. Believe me, they can help (Vit. B1, B6, B12, Omega 3-6-9).

Now I have days when I almost feel ok. I still have some good days and bad ones, tho. But much less than a couple of months ago.

Fatigue has also been a big issue in my case.

Please notice that I had to drop my job (but my boss wants me back in a few months, that's good news, and I know I can feel better by that time) and I'm resting as much as I need - which is important to prevent the fatigue to become chronic. Now, fatigue has diminished consistently.

I KNOW I'M NOT HEALTHY, but I'm praying and trying to heal. It also looks like I've found a GP who wants to help me. I don't know how my future will look like, only God knows.
I might get cancer, or having difficulties walking. Or, the disease might either stop or progress very slowly. I could die under a car, who knows.

I'm just trying to heal and live my life taking care of myself - staying away from infections, eating healthy, etc…- and my beloved ones.

Hope this helps.
All the best.

the big surprise that the doctor told me i am positive for ureaplasma/mycoplasma and the number of copies was 1000000 yes you did not read wrong! it was 1 million/ml !! so the doctor said, maybe this is the health issue i have because this bacteria is the smallest ever and it attacks the white blood cells and goes everywhere in the body causing many issues. i hope it is.

I came across an article titled "The Doomsday Strain" (subtitled "Can Nathan Wolfe thwart the next AIDS before it spreads?") by Michael Specter, in the December 2010 edition of The New Yorker. The article is about a biologist from Stanford University who lives in Africa collecting and measuring viruses from animals in the jungle and the people who eat them. Since we know that AIDS originated there, he is there looking for the next epidemic from there. Here's an excerpt from the article regarding HTLV and it's various strains, referred to as "an astonishing array of viruses":

Wolfe’s team has also used its blood samples to search for variants of a virus called H.T.L.V.—human T-lymphotropic virus—which infects millions of people and causes leukemia and neurological illnesses. There had been two known strains—H.T.L.V.-1 and H.T.L.V.-2—and researchers found evidence of both viruses in the primate blood samples; they also discovered two new viruses, which they named H.T.L.V.-3 and H.T.L.V.-4. “This is an astonishing array of viruses,’’ Donald Burke told me. “We have no idea how easily those viruses adapt to humans. Or how easily they can be transmitted between humans. But we better get prepared. Because, frankly, what we already know should be enough to frighten us all.”

I'll repeat the last sentence - what we already know should be enough to frighten us all.

Best wishes.

Hi All,

I recently noticed (with several episodes) that eating meat and eggs makes my symptom worse.

So then I googled "MS diet" (we know that we have something analogous to MS) and found out all animal proteins (except for fish) are not recommended for MS sufferers, as they trigger inflammation.

Plenty of fish, vegetables, and veggie proteins are suggested as a diet - which can IMPROVE symptomatology.

I read that it has been noticed that in seaside areas, MS is not common at all (due to high fish consumption). Similarly, in Japan, many people have HTLV, but HAM/TSP is definitely rare (much more than in Brazil), which is also linked to Japanese diet (plenty of rice, veggies, fish)

Hope this helps.

All the best,
I wish you all a happy New Year… hoping that 2015 will be a better one.

Hi all. I was on here many months ago. I tested neg for HIV but I have so many symptoms, I know I have something. Doctors say the usual when they don't have any textbook answers - it's psychological... I know that's not true and all of you know the same for yourselves. We've been in these bodies for a long time. We know there is something wrong. These doctors really anger me. I think I speak for the rest of us. I read on sites these HIV experts saying how they are aware of thousands of people that are healthy by have these psychological beliefs that they aren't. HELLO! It's because we DO have something and YOU IDIOTS just don't know what it is yet! It really angers me that if it's not in their books, it can't be real. I'm sure the same has been true for many diseases that were yet to be discovered.

I have HIV symptoms and they are very much in common with MS symptoms. I have a strong immune system as far as I know. From testing a year or so ago and the fact that I don't catch colds easy. I believe it is sexually transmitted. I am sometimes almost suicidal because I believe my now ex-wife has it and also my young daughter. I would rather be dead than to have given anything to innocent family members, because of my sinful behavior.

What are we going to do? How do we wake up the scientists? People that want to be healthy more than anything. That pray they wake up the next day, putting their faith in God to heal them, and then feeling the same day in and day out. These are not people that are mistaking what they are dealing with for something psychological. It's real. It's physical. A psychologist should be able to verify this, especially when there is such a large group dealing with the exact same thing!

I am willing to do whatever it takes to light a fire under their butts! I thought of starting a website and also using Google advertising and the like with search terms like HIV, False Negative, etc.. To get people like us from all over the world to get the attention of the medical community. We can't just give up! Thoughts?

Happy new year to all of you. I love you like brothers. God bless!

Hi testsRwrong,

Thank you for your message.

I totally understand what you're saying. We've all been there, with suicidal thoughts and depression. And we're still fighting daily.
This disease changes your life. However, I promise, it can get better. Please concentrate on your neurological symptoms. Go get checked by a neurologist. He/she won't underestimate your symptoms and will do everything is possible to fix them and stop the neurological disease from developing further. Meanwhile, start taking neuro-protective and antiviral supplements (vitamin B1-B6-B9-B12, omega 3/6/9, Vitamin C, Lysine, Curcumin, CoQ10, etc…); adjust your diet with low fat/carbs, plenty of veggies and fish.

I like your idea concerning the website. We should do it.

God bless you too and this community. I was about to commit suicide a few months ago, but people like ustas, TonyDewitt, EMIG and other really made the difference. And now I'm still here, with less symptoms than a few months ago - still struggling of course.

We need to 'hang in there', and spread the knowledge about this disease. One day some treatment will get available for the pathogen itself. But I guess we need to fight for at least 10-12 years. We need to focus on the symptoms and on boosting our immune system, at the moment.

I'm so happy you hung in there! Keep it up.

The only thing I changed is I no longer drink alcohol. I am doing much better. Not sure how much that has affected things.

So you are pretty sure your supplements and eating has helped?

I'm glad you like the website idea. Do you think there is a name for what you have? I think what I have is a yet to be discovered disease or strain...

Hi testsRwrong,

You definitely did something good in stopping alcohol, since it strongly affects the immune system. And we know that our immune system is already fighting a tough battle.

Supplements and diet have been helping for sure. Smile You'll notice that Sjogren's syndrome treatment is mostly based on vitamins, omega 3/6/9, etc…

I think I got HTLV and this is triggering autoimmune reactions in my body - this is where the symptoms come from.

My GP is referring me to a ME/CFS clinic, so I'll keep you guys posted on my situation.

Please keep this page alive - and yes, let's go for the website idea.

All the best,
J

I think the website would have to be for those that have NOT been diagnosed with anything but have symptoms like HIV, MS, HTLV... Thoughts?

Hi friend,

of course I'm not able to say for sure what I / we have. Many other people on the PhoenixRising forum have had similar symptoms after an infectious event, still no diagnosis for many of them.

I think we should gather all together and something useful for ourselves and for all the other people in the world. Cuz, trust me, anybody can get involved in such a situation. My infectious event wasn't even considered as a 'risky exposure' from several Drs. I went to. But unfortunately, I have every single symptom described in here, and I know the person that infected me was in a 'flu-like' acute illness with neurological symptoms.

Hey bro. I got it from giving oral. We were going to 69 and for whatever reason, she switched and asked me to be on top. Maybe she just got off her period or something? I apologize for the details. They sicken me now, not just literally. But generally, I wouldn't think this is a common way to catch this.

Sounds like you are serious about this website. I am too. Anyone else? I really would want it to be all of us with common symptoms that have no diagnosis. I want to bring all of us from around the world together to try to wake up the medical community. I want to prove that it makes no sense to call this psychological - all in our heads (notinourheads dot com?).

Hello Everyone,

Whats up Tony, Wyomingscared,Ustas and everyone...

I'm just stopping back in to check on everyone. I'm still in the same boat..nothing has been diagnosed...tests all negative. I still have the headaches, joint point, weird jaw pain, all kinds of skin problems and even weird sores that pop up out of nowhere now...they are painful or itching or anything put I noticed one on the side of my knee and finger at at separate times.... I get weird dry skin on my face and strange acne that I never got before I became ill. I have definitely gained weight and weird belly fat...probably about 30lbs or so... I'm going to try the low carb diet Tony mentioned... and I need to pick up on my supplements...I will say that eating yogurt and taking probiotics have seem to help out with the digestive issues that I was dealing with. I hope we find out something soon for this as I believe this virus is SUPER HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. I'm scared to even sneeze around people now out of fear of infecting them. Its crazy.

Hi MGFCG

I see you have headaches and jaw pain. I have those 2 symptoms in common with you. The headaches for me include a burning sensation in my forehead, temples, etc. When I have these I also have problems with reasoning and short term memory. The jaw pain. I'm surprised to see you mention that. For me it's a stiff feeling and a dull pain. Do you have the same issues?

How do you think you got whatever you have? You seem to think you can pass it by sneezing. Do you think you got it sexually?

Hang in there brother. We're all in this together.

Hey man....

I have the burning sensation on my forehead also but it doesn't seem to coincide with the headaches. I actually have the jaw pain right now as I type this. It is dull sometimes but sometimes its a little bit worse. I have other body pains too..arms, legs, etc..

I know exactly how and who I got this from. I had ex with an Ex girlfriend almost 2 years ago ever since that night my life has been misery and agony. Our sex was protected too but of course some of her wetness got on my genital area so I have to think that someone someway it got in me. I do think its very contagious because a girl I kissed seems to be showing the same symptoms (at that time, I didn't think it was a risky move but now know how foolish that was) I remember one day my niece tried to drink out of my cup when I put my drink down and I snatched it from her so fast she thought I was crazy lol! I said "I think I have the flu so I don't want you to get sick"

I am trying to hang in there man and this group has helped me tremendously. If it wasn't for this group, I may have already jumped off a cliff! I really do believe most of us have the same virus...one of my doctors actually said she has noticed a lot of young men coming in an complaining about symptoms like ours and they have no diagnosis....so I believe this thing will break open at some point....Its probably easier to transmit than HIV because so many people here get sick after low risk encounters (low risk for HIV).

We are all in this together and I'm down to do anything you guys want to try as a group to get us help.

MGFCG,

You are right on with the symptoms, headaches, jaw pain, skin sores, side knee itch, belly fat, weight gain, etc. Yogurt is super healpful because it helps battle yeast infections caused by immune suppression. Its been over three years for me and I am just now having decent bowel movements, before this taking a dump was a nightmare.

Best wishes.

Hey man,

I hope things have been good with you. The yogurt is very helpful...actually I tried that after you suggested that a while ago and like you it has helped my dumps tremendously. Have you found any way to combat the belly fat? How often do those weird sores show up for you? Have you noticed in pattern with those?

EMIG

I'm so sorry for the anxiety you must be feeling. Did you show your rapid results to your doctor? I believe that's what you need to do.

Regardless of what you have or don't have, it doesn't mean your wife has it. I've heard of people with HIV having a partner that never gets it. Is there symptoms you are seeing in her?

I cry often because I know I have something and I believe I gave it to my wife and 11 year old daughter. But I have no diagnosis of anything. Been through tons of testing and all negative. I fear for my 16 year old daughter because she shares razors with my wife. I tell them not to and they think I'm crazy.

Please realize you aren't suffering alone!

Blessings

TRW,

Like you, I spent a long time crying about this, at least two years. My sister and cousin both have this, with my sister being very sick from this. I've advised my sister's daughter NOT to share razors with my sister, and she has honored my request. Same point with me & my sons, they know not to use my razors and understand my concerns. Please do everything you can to convince them not to share razors. We both know how horrible this disease is, and the last thing we want is for the children in our family to have this also.

Best wishes.

It's an epidemic that unfortunately will be exploding on the scene, blindsiding the medical community. We need to get them to listen ASAP!

Hi EMIG,

You're HIV negative. I'm pretty sure your false positive results are due to a cross-reaction (Tuberculosis can cause this). However, trust me, you DON'T have Hiv.
