Thanks for the encouragement I see the doc tomorrow I'm gonna get complete blood work done. I hope you are right these last 3 months have been the worst of my life. My wife even thinks I'm crazy he'll she's fine with her 8 week test if it weren't for all the symptoms I would except it I'm just scared for her more than anything. If I could take that night back I would I just can't believe I let my guard down knowing I have a wife and kids to take care of. I don't like to be negative I just know something's not right but we'll see. I'll post the results when I get them. I tell my wife all this stress and anxiety will kill me before HIV would anyway. I do have 5 negative tests and the last one was at 91 days you think if I had it one of those test would have caught it, I just don't get all the symptoms. I talked to a counselor at home access and he said they use a second generation test I don't know if that means anything or not. Anyway thanks for the replies I'll let you know what happens thanks.

to be sure ask for 4th generation elissa test ,which is exclusive 6 weeks after exposure,but your symtoms not relate to HIV at all,but to get rid of this obsession do that and become happy again.

Well my wife got her 14 week antibody test result back today Negative! I don't know what to make of all this, she complains about the same symptoms as me yet the tests show negative. If this isn't HIV what else could it be we both ake all over. We have only had sex 1 time since my exposure. I want to get on with my life so bad I don't know why I can't believe the tests. I mean what are the odds of us both taking so long to produce antibodies? I tested 5 times 2,3,10,12, and 13 weeks negative, and she tested 8 and 14 weeks after we had sex both negative. She had her spleen removed about 25 years ago would not having a spleen have any affect on a antibody test? Man if this is a virus this is one hell of a virus. The thing bothering me the most is the molluscum bumps on my forehead and temple area, and now I've noticed a couple of them on her face as well. From what I have read molluscum only shows in very late stage HIV infection aids and I started getting this about the 2nd or 3rd week. That's why I just don't understand why the tests aren't picking up the virus. I really want to let it go my wife's telling me to let it go I'm just so scared for her more than anything. Man I just want my life back.

i am sure you don't have HIV,it is quite obvious,molluscum contagious we can say it is common,and it is obvious you got it from the girl,and your wife got it from you,coz it contagious.so go to visit the doctor and tell anything in your mind.

I went to the doc on march 2nd I told him everything it seems to think I'm over reacting it's like they think they know your body. I can't do my blood work till the 30th due to insurance. So you think I could have caught the molluscum and not HIV? I did another home access test today, should have the results tomorrow by 8:00 pm e.t. I'll post the results tomorrow when I get them this will make it 15 weeks. Thanks for the replies man I appreciate it.

Well I got my 15 week test result back NEGATIVE! I just hope these home access tests are accurate. I'm gonna do one more in 2 weeks and if it's negative I guess I'll have to let it go. I just hope I'm not one of the unlucky ones who test positive late. I just never felt so many symptoms that line up perfectly with HIV till the exposure I had. I'll keep posting results till
I know in my heart I don't have it, man this sure has taught me one hell of a lesson.

Hi everyone it's me again I got my 17 week home access test result back today it's NEGATIVE! I go in next Friday to do my complete blood work for my doctor including HIV of course so I'll get to see just how accurate these tests are. I hope I can put this all behind me soon and get my life back, this whole experience has really taken a toll on me. These past 4 months have been a nightmare and really have taken my life away. It's just so wierd having all these symptoms that match HIV but test negative. I guess after next week if the result is negative I'll have to let this go and move on with my life,hopefully.

Hi letshope, no when I went to see him on the 2nd he acted like it was all in my head saying I was just being to anxious. It's funny how these doctors think they know your body. I never had any of these symptoms before until the exposure I had. What really made me scared is because I had sex with my wife once after and she started to experience alot of the same symptoms to. I still have an irritated throat with white stuff in the back of it and my tonsils look swollen with red patches, this has been going on 3 and a half months now. I think it's thrush in the back of my throat, I showed my doctor back on the 2nd when I saw him and he said it wasnt thrush he said I know what thrush is, but then again he acted like he didn't even want to look. He is an internal medicine doctor though. He basically thinks all these symptoms are in my head we'll they must be in my wife's head to. Both of us ache all over more now than we ever have, she has taken 2 tests since we had sex at 8 and 14 weeks they both came back negative. I go in for my labs on march 30th my doctor don't want to do anything until he gets my blood work back so I guess I'll have to wait until then. I just don't know what else this could all be.

here is my story,,i french kissed deeply a girl which i supposed hiv positive,,several days later i developed urinary tract infection which has progressed into prostatitis..i did a 12 week post expoure test,which came negative...since having prostatitis i was doing a physiotherapy which consists 0f inserting a stimulator up my rectm but unfortunately one day the condom was broken when i removed it,,so this exposure was the riskiest of all risk..from my experience of what i have seen there ,im sure it was not cleaned by the nurses..later did a prostate secretion culture,and they found 2 weird bacteria which are not supposed to be find in healthy individual ,its only present in immunocompromised patient.,so i concluded im hiv positive.but anyway did an hiv test after 6 weeks of my 2nd exposure,and it came negative,what i read i ve to wait for 6 months to have a concrete diagnosis,,so now im living everyday life as if im positive..im only 25 years old..i forgot to mention all those weird dream im having..for its the beginning of the end

Hi crazy dean, I know your probably like me not believing the test results, I have had every symptom in the book but 7 tests negative. All I can say is try to accept the results and every where I have read 13 weeks is conclusive so test out till then and no more risky behavior man it's not worth it. I have been living a nightmare the past 4 months I know how you feel. I'm still convinced I have it, thrush in the back of my throat, molluscum on my forehead and temple area, body aches, dry mouth, the list goes on and on. I just think my immune system is to weak to produce antibodies. I'm gonna test out till 26 weeks and then I'll let it go, so like the doctors say on all these forums believe the test results because symptoms mean nothing.

My story is exactly similar to yours. So far i have 11week result negative, but all symtopms going on with me and my wife. Will go for a 13 week test in first week of April. Its so tough to handle the stress. Its a situation like you can't die or live also. The biggest blunder of the life dear.Its more cruel than death.

i don't understand condom of what was broken??
it is impossible to get HIV infection by kissing except if you had open ulcer in your mouth at the kissing time.
bacterial infection not occurs in early HIV infection ,it is occur in aids.
try to understand aids develop after 7-10 years after exposure.read about acute HIV infection and how HIV lead to aids.

i have the same story exactly , I have had every symptom in the book with a 6 Negative results for my GF,
i still have some symptoms , the tonsils,the swollen lymph nodes in neck,the sore throat,the spots\ulcers in the mouth & tongue,
my encounter was 8 months ago,all test results was Negative as usual,but still have this things here & there,
i was just healthy & perfect before the encounter,"un-fortunately my first time sex".

any thoughts guys about what we could have..?

Good luck Casper I've been trying to figure this out for over 4 months now all these symptoms but negative tests. I never felt like this before either. I'm gonna test for hep a,b, and c also they have alot of the same symptoms. There's not a doubt in my mind this woman gave me something.

what i'm sure of , is that my GF doesn't have anything because she tested 6 times in front of me & show me all the results, all were negative BUT i still have all the symptoms with all these negative results:
-in july 2011 (hiv ag\ab ) negative.
-in October 2011 ( Elisa test ) non-reactive
-in November 2011 ( Elisa test ) non-reactive
-in december 2011 ( HIV ag/ab test ) Negative
-in february 2012 ( Elisa test ) non-reactive
-in March 2012 ( Elisa test ) non-reactive
she was my first & only sex partner , on the other hand i still got all those symptoms since then , No reason , No meaning ,

Hi, i went to lab corp to do my blood work for my doctor today he's testing for hep a,b, and c as well as HIV 1 and 2, liver and kidney function as well. Hopefully I'll get the results back by monday or Tuesday so I find out was is wrong. I'll post the results when I get them today makes 18 weeks since the exposure I had. Hey Casper that 8 month test is pretty clear your not infected with HIV. I would suggest doing full std pannell, have your doctor do CBC as well have your GF do the same I had my wife do it, it's better to be safe then sorry. Good luck on everything keep me posted and I'll do the same.

As I told Casper do full std pannel, test for mono also . I'm pretty sure your safe from hiv with 8 month neg test. They say 13 weeks is conclusive, good luck keep us all posted.

BTW, i did a CBC test twice which is normal ,&, also my GF did a STD tests all negative man,

uk_worry: we are to many having the same thing,so far no one knows what we r suffering from,we all have the same symptoms,e.g i still have the oral problems for the last 8 months,with a swollen lypmh node with a sore throat,

i tested all stds all same time and all came negetive..but i never tested for herpes(i tested negative for EBV#)

i have lumps my bootom lips
inside my both cheeks broken skin and white white points ..
my left neck node little swollen.#
these symptoms here for 5 months now...
i also had pins and needles but gone now..
i have acces for any test in uk.. please help me guys what more test i can do ?

Hi uk_ worry, the EBV test was it I should have said that sorry, you should test for HSV1 and HSV2 also with all the oral problems. A lot of things can cause lymph nodes to swell just keep working with your doctor.

Casper I know how u feel so many symptoms but test results are negative, what the hell is this some other virus for months? I have had every symptom u can think of my wife as well but both of us have tested negative.

Guys all we can do is believe the tests and keep working with our doctors to try and figure this thing out. I'll keep searching for answers till I find one. My neck is so soar and stiff now I can't lean forward or turn much with out hurting. Is it possible to have contracted HIV but our bodies never produce antibodies? I've spent the past 4 months searching the Internet for answers every symptom I've had HIV pops up, but all 7 tests are negative. I'm lost here guys I really am keep in touch everyone I'll keep u all posted as well good luck,
