I'm located South Texas near the border of Mexico, and I'm actually a paramedic for the city I live in, and I seruously have never encountered someone who has the symptoms the same as me, and I keep talking to buddies of mine and doctors at ER and they have no idea of the disease which is INSANITY!!! I mean its crazy to think like you said that noone knows of this only because I tested negative for all STD tests and I still had symptoms to which I then reseached online and found this awful disease, which to me is worse than HIV since noone knows about it

Insanity indeed!
A,

Let's review what you just wrote:

1. You tested negative for all STDs, great. Would you be surprised to know that HTLV is NOT part of the standard STD panel? Insanity!

2. You had to research online to find this disease, so doesn't that tell you that doctors are ignoring it? Insanity!

3. Yes, it is worse than HIV, since the people who know about it aren't warning the public. Insanity!

Also, consider that all of us here who are sick are in every part of the USA and the world. But hey, it's all good.

Best wishes.

Hey Tony, well is there anything we can do? Is there any home remedies to at least calm the symptoms? I read that curcumin helps and in another site that fuciodan and green tea tablets help as well. I just need something because my symptoms are worsening by the day where I can't even perform my job right. I'm also on the verge of breaking down and going crazy because my life is ruined, I still am sometimes in denial but everytime I get the symptoms, it snaps me back to reality. And man seriously these doctors don't help, they don't hear me out when ive tried explaining and think its something else, which I wish it was, but what do I do? I have nowhere else to turn to, everyone thinks I'm crazy or know that I'm sick but don't know what it is even when I tell them, I'm even afraid to get tested for it sometimes because I don't want it to become reality. I'm ok during the day but when I go to sleep at night, its horrible night sweats, nocturia, constant cold, then eyes hurt and are bloddshot red when I look in mirror and then horrible diarrhea, and its getting worse, I still haven't had lower leg weakness or constant back pain but I'm afraid I'm heading that direction. So I'm just asking is there anyway to slow this down until I can convince doctors to give me the right meds like azacitidine or xeljanz

Right now Im taking 4 x 500mg tablet of curcumin with a cup of yogurt with breakfast - without that, my stools are completely shot.

As far as real treatment goes, we need to find a doctor who will prescribe TAF and oral Azacytidine for us - both of those are still in clinical trials, but doctors have access to them, especially doctors that work close to the manufacturers (Gilead & Celgene).

Keep getting tested, it will solidify the case that we all have the same thing & the current testing is completely useless against it. I will send you my phone number in a private message in case you need someone to talk to.

Best wishes.

Also why the heck doesn't the CDC have this in their website? What is going on here? Why is this killing people and yet noone does anything about it, ive even read where people donate blood and then get a letter that they have HTLV and yet THAT'S IT?!? That's all they get is a lousy letter but nothing else? Of what can be done or any procedures to follow? Man I think it truly is the End of Times like in the Book of Revelation, everything is going bad and this ignorance of this disease that has affected all the world proves it, God help us.

A,

Bingo! You've reach the first plateau! No doctors or the CDC want anything to do with this!

I can give you a list of doctors who have totally dismissed my concerns about HTLV (Soroko, Abo, etc) and also on-line doctors at TheBody site who have dismissed my concern on their site in writing, along with doctors on the MedHelp site who had me banned from their site multiple times. We either take charge of this disease ourselves or go shopping for a plot at the cemetery. No one is going to help us with this.

Best wishes.

Just got back from the Doctor Visit and spoke with another Doctor who was willimg to listen to my concern about HTLV and was going to research on it after I explained all the possible symptoms and signs of this virus. She said she would research on it because she really didn't know or heard anything of it and she said that she is usually researching diseases all the time and was surprised about this but will get on it as soon as she can and would be willing to do a PCR test of this if its available after she finds out what this is. She looked like she was willing to help so maybe there is hope for us Tony. Though we might have to wait because she sent me to some specialists first to see if I have anything else, Ill definitely save your number man because we are all in this together and hopefully this Doctor is the one who is willing to help all of us.

A,

You're lucky to have found a doctor who is willing to discuss HTLV, but again the fact that the doctor has to 'research it' shows that the medical community is unequipped to handle this disease.

Do us a favor and print out the article that proves that a seronegative B chronic lymphocytic leukemia patient had HTLV, as evidenced by using a rat to prove seropositivity - this is very important for realizing that HTLV does not generate seropositivity in many people!

Best wishes.

Seriously afyer two months of doctor visits I hope this one will help out like she said she would.

Do you have a link for that article? And you are right about the medical community being unprepared for this disease, but I think if I found one you can too. Are you located close to South Texas? What region do you live in? Maybe if this Doctor is willing to help me, she can be the start of helping all of us. Which gets me to thinking that I wish I had a Doctor for a family member. Then again we all wish we were not infected with this disease. Thanks for your replies Tony, you have helped me a lot mentally in being able to vent to someone that can relate

A,

I will try to provide the article link here, but the title for the article is 'Human T lymphotropic virus type 1 in a seronegative B chronic lymphocytic leukemia patient'. I came across the article because a lady in Florida (Effie) on the HTLVhelp Facebook page was told by the idiot doctor that her B lymphoma was not caused by HTLV (which she tested positive for).

I live in NJ near NY, but I appreciate you trying to help me. And yes, I've previously mentioned that if any of us had doctor relatives / friends, we'd have a better chance of being taken seriously - how sad is that? You're welcome for my replies & I'm glad that I could help you.

Hey fellas..just checking in.

Still having neuro problems. Headaches, muscle spams, leg and arm weakness, involuntary movement in my fingers (twitch). Dermatitis still going strong. Weird pains..weird back pain.

Every single test has been negative for all STD. MRI Negative.

Going on 7 months post sexual encounter...

This is terrible. This needs to be discussed more and not just swept under the rug. Fortunately my last Dr did not dismiss anything and is listening to my HTLV concerns. HTLV fits but so do a few other virus infections number of other virus infections so I have to still chase this stuff down. I don't believe its HIV at this point.

Has anyone noticed any one family members or friends exhibiting the same symptoms as we are? I mean people who you did not have sex with but are in close contact with?

Oh the worst part about this...I wore a condom and it did not break. and I didn't even want to sex this chick. my freakin lonliness has screwed me big time.

Goose,

1. I'm experiencing the same symptoms as you - I will probably be chastised for saying that, but that's the truth, and we are here to discuss the truth, right?

2. I'm glad that your STD panel is negative. Everyone please never forget that HTLV is NOT part of the standard STD panel.

3. Indeed this is terrible, and should not be 'just swept under the rug' - that is putting it lightly - this disease needs to be in the news, on billboards, TV commercials, etc. As much as HIV, if not more, since the testing for HTLV is inconclusive.

4. If I saw anyone I knew with these symptoms, that would be the final straw. I know some of you have spouses and kids with this, and frankly I don't know how you can handle that - you have my sympathy.

5. I am glad that you have accepted that this is not HIV. Some of us have had this for years - Im going on two years, DFrank is five years, and OverStressed on the Phoenix Rising forum is over ten years. He lives in Belgium where his doctor admitted that there's many cases of this over there as well.

6. Like you, I didn't have to have sex, I was just tired of being abused and wanted to be with someone who didn't treat me like garbage - how ironic that NOT having a good time is how I got sick.

7. Please think about how you got this - everything that happened in as much detail as possible. One of the guys here used a condom, but came in contact with the other person's fluids by using a tissue to remove the condom, the tissue touched the opening of his penis. Did you give or receive oral?

Best wishes.

Tony..you are going on some time with this now...and dfrank has been going for years....

WoW!! Now the forum is really a live. But me and my family is dying and doctors cannot do anything about it. Should i balme all of this to god, my self, virus, doctor or the prostitut.

I know this virus is similar to HIV i have all the symtomp and the experience i just miss the HIV antibody test. The antibody test is not accurate at all there is no 100% negative test for HIV in this whole world.

I dont want to kill my self i just want to enjoy the rest of my life and spread this virus to everyone. I just wanted to know any girls and give them this virus and ejoy the rest of my life with unprotected sex.

Hey, let's look at how contagious this is.. From what I understand HIV and HTLV are very hard to contract, ecspecialy for a male, unless your homosexual.. So being said by many, this condition is very contagious.. Yes my daughter, son, and girlfriend have had some symptoms.. Are they directley related? I don't know, but like you said, I could see my GF having symptoms, but not my kids, unless this is extremely contagious like I think it is...all I know is this seems similar to the HIV Luke virus in china.. I'm not saying it couldn't be a form of any of these diseases, but it seems really contagious... So much that I really believe it can't be ignored for much longer.. Look at the situations if exposer, "not very high risk for retroviruses"!! Good luck figuring this out... Hang In there guys, 4+ years strong!!! And living
A pretty good life now, BUT still In some pain...

Thanks guy, this thing whatever it is is hurraible. the lady that intentionaly gave me this said that she must have gotten it from a lady she stayed with who was always sick an they shared same cups. my daughter is showing some symptoms. though my son must have gotten it through breatfeeding of one week. i dont know how my daughter can get it except through kissing the brother or by air.

The help in the house who shares their food is not showing symptoms.

so what is this. symptoms remains

occasional nuro issues with hand.
fungal infection in toe nials.
lunula is back on some fingers.
rumbling some times of stomarch.
Back pain
poor vision and floaters
soft stool
frequent urination
and they general slow down in healing of wounds and hair growth.

Ho can i resolve all this issues which i was never sick for 20 years before all this

@dfrank For sure man I'll let you know how it works out with this Doctor, though it might take awhile because I don't have a follow-up with her after I go to all the specialists she sent me to first until about 1 month. Also like you said I hope this isnt anew strain of the virus that has mutated over the years due to all the medicarions we take causing a new strain to develop and of course since the medical community has never properly researched and tried to develop medication/vaccine as they have tried for other viruses. Who knows I just hope that it isnt getting very contagious, I feel horrible as it is because everytime my wife says she is sick or has this and that, it kills me to think she might have it too

@john Yes I know our savior is Jesus and I believe in him and I hope he can heal all of us here suffering from this horrible disease in which man has forsaken and ignored.

A,

Regarding contagiousness, no one has an accurate measurement for the contagiousness of HTLV versus HIV versus any other infection - it's not being measured scientifically, but rather a vague judgment based on testing that doesn't work. Certainly when rabbits are infected (orally) in a lab, no one makes a big deal that every rabbit becomes HTLV positive, which is 100% infectivity. Therefore this is not a new strain, but rather has been around for 100,000 years - HTLV.

Best wishes.

Hassan,

We are all in the same boat - all being told to see a psychiatrist, and even some put into a mental hospital. We either find a doctor who is willing to believe us or we're going to end up like that group on TheBody site 9 years ago. This is not HIV / AIDS, but it does kill people and is a retrovirus. I have many of the same symptoms you have.

A,

There are tons of info in this forum, so I know that's much to read, but definitely take the time to skim all 95 pages. I've posted the article from TheBody site at least twice, so you'll see it if you read back. In a nutshell, a group of people who were mysteriously sick like us wrote in to ask about retroviruses other than HIV, since they were all suffering with wasting and (more importantly) *dying* of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The doctor was baffled and suggested that they contact the CDC - that was the end of the posting. You can look it up by going to that site and searching "HTLV chicken", dated Sep 6, 2004.

Of course, you can imagine what happened (or didn't happen) after that. I'm bringing it up because Alberto from Italy progressed to leukemia after 7 years. As much as I'd like to be happy go lucky about this disease, I can't pretend that it cannot kill us. And what if we're in the same situation as that group 9 years ago and we start dying one by one?

Best wishes.

I am ready to died and I know hell is my place. I am not meant to be in the haven because I am simply don't deserve it. We have to make doctor believe this is new HIV strain or new HTLV strain.

I am Malaysian and really far to the CDC hope people who near US can meet someone in CDC and told them about this contagious and deadly virus. Show them all this post and hope you guys keep posting until we get the clear solution for this new HIV strain.

Keep donating blood and we can get as much as people sick with this virus as a warning to the whole world. we have to make a wakeup call to the Doctors around the world with this sickness.
