I received an email from one of my girlfriends that she is happy that she has lost TWENTY pounds since I had sex with her six months ago. Again this underscores the fact that any man who suddenly lost 20 pounds would run screaming to a doctor and this woman thinks this is great.

Best wishes.

No, she doesnt suspect any illness, and yes, she had the dreaded chest rash that has been mentioned on TheBody site. She is a routine blood donor, so she is tested for HTLV every time she donates.

Best wishes.

I don't know about you guys, probably have the same feeling as I have, I don't think I can take this much longer. Over the last few months I have gotten worse and worse.

Finally I have found a way to explain what my stomache/bowels/etc feel like. You know when you haven't eaten for quite some time and your stomach/bowels/etc began to hurt because of the hunger? I have that feeling chronically, no matter if I eat or not. I can't even enjoy eating anymore.....

The only thing I can slightly enjoy to eat/drink is a glass of water...

Well my boss said he had mycosyotis or something like that he was in a rush so I couldn't question him! God I was so dissapointed.. he did mention it was an infection that attacked his lungs. But doctors cuaght it and treated it..

I honostly feel like its a blood infection or a stomach infection the way its attacking ourwhole body. EEspecially our digestive system.

Just in the past 2 weeks two co workers commited suicide. I didn't know them but it made me realize that we should appreciate everyday we get.. enjoy the good things in life. And deal with our mistakes.. we have to Man Up! And mean while still go get checked and tested

M,

I can totally relate to the chronic stomach pains and discomfort. That's my biggest issues right now, my stools just aren't the same anymore. I have constant loose, soft, broken, and diahreah everyday. I'm really worried something bad is wrong.

D-Man,

Man can a stomach infection last this long? My digestive system is completely shot now. I'm worried its some kind of cancer they haven't caught yet. I feel like committing suicide everyday, I can't take much more of living like this.

Same here with the stools, those are getting worse as well. I haven't had a hard stool for over a year now! Even though they should be hard, since I don't eat meat, and people who do not eat meat should have a hard stool in general, which I had before all this crap.

I am going to save some money and perhaps go to Brazil to test and then to the Mayo clinic or some top hospital in India/Pakistan, since that's probably cheaper.

I don't know if that makes sense, I am running out of options since I've done everything here.

Hi M.

Have you tried "heavy" probiotics ? I can totally relate to your problem, and as some of us here I've been diagnosed with IBS. I've been trying this for a couple of weeks now and although the stools are still pale and soluble, at least they are coming in one piece...I don't have the brand I've been using, but if you PM me I'll let you know.

Good luck

R,

Regarding stool problems - these are caused by candida, which is caused by our suppressed immune systems. I've mentioned this many times before, but I will repeat it - if you want you stool problems resolved, you have to eat a cup of yogurt each day - yogurt has the probiotics that you mentioned above. Btw, a good probiotic is one that requires refrigeration.

Everyone else,

I know it's hard to accept that we have candida infections, in our mouths, throats, intensinal tract, rectum, scalp, skin, etc. This is a result of immunosuppression. Treating candida will help resolve the infection, but it will return once you stop treatment, whether it be yogurt, probiotics, or some other approach.

Best wishes.

Best wishes.

Intestinal parasites could be transmitted by fecal matter from rimiming or licking an anus or by oral sex, as genitals can be contaminated with feces. It seem you could get it from giving oral sex, but not from receiving oral sex. So in a way it's only infectious if the parasite enters the mouth.
Many people whose intestines are habitat to dangerous parasites don’t exhibit symptoms, which means they could unknowingly infect their partners. Symptomatic individuals could experience diarrhea, abdominal pain or bloating, nausea, and vomiting.

''A health care provider can do tests to see if you have intestinal parasites, even if you do not have intestinal parasites symptoms. Your health care provider will examine your stool (feces). Other tests are sometimes needed, such as proctoscopy — a test that involves a health care provider inserting a thin tube that has a light into the rectum.''

I got my stool examined and they didn't find anything Sad.

I just got back from the radiologist, since the ENT dr. said it would be advisable to do an ultrasound and perhaps ''stick a needle'' (not a biopsy, but something else and I don't know the English name of it) in the lymph node to see what kind of cells are in there.

The radiologist didn't want to stick a needle in it, since he said the node didn't look like cancer. And that it was most likely caused by an infection. I told him that looking wether it was cancer or not wasn't the purpose of my visit, but to find out what kind of cells inhabit the lymphnode.

Another ''wasted'' trip, or maybe im just mistaken since I thought you could find out what kind of infection cells are in a lymph node by sticking a needle in them.

Hi M.

Sometimes if you mention that a certain disease runs in the family, it might compell health professionals to do what you actually came to do ....
