Q: cephalexin for staph infection

my son had sores on his head, the doctor gave him cephalexin, 4x's a day. His lympnoid behind his neck was swollen, did a blood count on him it was fine. Said he had a staph infection. A year ago he was diagnoised with aml, been in remission. Just worried.
