I recently found out i am wheat-intolerant.

I have wanted to be a vegan since I was ten but I still need vitamins and nutriance from meat until my brain is fully grown. I am currently a vegetarian.

I am also currently under-weight due aggrivating my intolerance for fourteen years.

Considering my recent discovery, is a vegan diet still viable? What are the consequences?

Thanks, my apologies for spelling mistakes. Please ignore them.

Being Vegan is definitely still viable.

Being wheat intolerant or having celiac disease simply means you must avoid WRBO (Wheat, Rye, Barley and Oats) and their related by-products. You should also avoid malt products.

There are still many ways to get good quality carbohydrates as well as proteins from other sources like quinoa, barley, etc.

Good luck and I hope this helps,

Guy
