I was diagnosed with CRVO in November last year. I am 57 years old and don't have any conditions like blood pressure, diabetes or cholesterol usually bring it on. I was told by my specialist that I am in classification of "it just happens" range. I have refused to get my eye injected as I am not convinced about the treatment they offer (injecting my eye with what ever they are planning to inject it with), anyway since then I have done a lot of research on the subject and found a study done in China which to me sounded really worthwhile pursuing. No only does the swelling go down, but veins/capillaries actually get repaired and even better the sight improves all in a very short time. It is a very reputable university and the study has not been viewed upon with sceptism at all (at least I did not find anything to that effect). Now the only trouble I am having is to get my hands on it.
