You can't eat any foods that contain gluten. Gluten is in wheat, oats, barley and triticale. It is not in rice or corn. However, many processed foods contain gluten, so it is important to read the labels on food to check the ingredients. You must be wary of any food that contains starch because many manufacturers use wheat starch in their products. If it doesn't say what type of starch is in it, you have to assume it's wheat just to be on the safe side. You can eat any natural meats (not processed)and all fruits and vegetables. This is just the tip of the iceberg however. It is best to join a Coeliac Society in your country and they will be able to give you more detailed information. It may be difficult at first but you will soon get the hang of it and as you start to feel better you will realise that it is worth the effort.
