Hello,
I have a family member who was diagnosed with Celiac several years ago and she cannot eat any kind of sweetener. No sugar, honey, maple syrup, and no agave nectar without getting very sick.
Correction, she can eat a little bit like 20 grams or so but anything else makes her really ill.
Has anyone heard of Celiac having a symptom like that?
thank you very much.

I think this problem is not directly related to the Coeliac (Australian spelling) Disease as these items do not contain gluten. There is a link between Coeliac Disease and diabetes, however, so I wonder if it is worth looking into that.
