My friend, who is 20 years old, is currently taking celexa for depression. Her dose was increased from 20 to 40mg about four days ago. It has been about four hours since she took the dose, and she started experiencing uncontrollable twitching and fairly violent muscle spasms, which have lasted well over two hours now. She also has a headache and is experiencing a lot of nausea, but no vomiting. She doesn't have a fever currently. I contacted her family doctor but he didn't seem concerned. I was hoping to get a second opinion on whether we should seek immediate medical help or not. Any input would be great. Thanks.
