I have been having problems conceiving again i have a 12 year old son and a 2 year old son u see it took me 10 years to have a second child my period has not been regular since my first child more than 10 years ago and now since i have had another child my period might go months before it comes on i have been up to 8 months without a period i have asked my doctor and they tell me that some woman do that is that true should i be worried what is wrong with me u see i want another child the doctors checks me and tells me that my cervix is perfect so what is wrong when i got my second child my doctor put me on prenatal vitamins do i need to start back taking them i hope u give me a answer back thanks for listening

At only 29 years of age, it is not normal to go without a period for months. If you skip periods at all for months at a time, then conditions such as stress and anxiety, malnutrition, depression, overexercising, sudden weight loss or gain (obesity), thyroid disorders and hormonal imbalance due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) should be looked into.

If this gynecologist is not taking it seriously, then consult another one. If taking vitamin supplements helped earlier, then it is possible that you have poor diet intake. You can take these and see. If it does not help, seek another opinion. Hope this helps. Take care!
