According to the information you provided (painful intercourse, reduced lubrication, feeling of ball inside the vagina), it is possible that you might be experiencing painful intercourse due to reduced lubrication. This is one of the most frequent causes for painful intercourse. What caused the decreased lubrication cannot be determined without additional examinations.

Other causes for painful intercourse might include: uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and ovarian cysts.

You might want to use lubricants to increase the lubrication. As for the feeling of a ball inside the vagina, you might want to visit your gynecologist for a physical examination to examine if there is a polyp or other formation present in the vaginal cavity. The gynecologist would be also able to confirm or to rule out existence of the other above mentioned possible causes.
