You should go to a doctor, because it is hard to say what it is without seeing it, and there are many differential diagnoses. The least dangerous are certain skin cysts originating from the skin glands products. The lump can be caused by infection. When an infection occurs, it is usually accompanied with redness, swelling and pain. One of the most dangerous diagnoses is a metastasis from a close tumor that affected the lymph nodes in the armpit.
