Causes of Kidney Disease, analgesic nephropathy

Do people with analgesic nephropathy typically have urinary tract infections? Does anyone
know if there are symptoms with this condition? I'm finding information that is somewhat
conflicting.

I don't have urinary tract infections but fear I may have caused this condition anyway. I have been using
tylenol for years for my arthritic pain and now I'm having an ultrasound done because something
showed up on my bone scan which indicates there may (or may not) be something awry with
my kidneys. My blood counts are normal.

Dr. says it could just be a cyst.

Any thoughts?
