Infertility Answer A7299
The most common causes of irregular periods that also result in infertility or inability to conceive are PCOS or polycystic disease of the ovary, tuberculosis of the genital system, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, hypothyroidism, and hormonal imbalances. These conditions can also cause spotting in between periods.

This requires specialized treatment under the guidance of an infertility specialist. It is difficult to comment beyond this on the internet. Hope this helps. Take care!
