I am a 37 year old male that has been suffering SEVERELY from CFS, Fibromyalgia and associated conditionssince I was 23 or 24.

I have been addicted to narcotics for 12 years since my symptoms started, and now take maethadone daily because I couldnt and can not deal with the pain and weakness, and the fact that MANY DOCTORS think this is some bogus ailment and was hard to find doctors that understood what I am going through.

Long story short. I have been on methadone daily for past 6 years at a clinic because it was the ONLY relief I get.

ALSO, are there any other males out there that suffer from this. I noticed that it is PRIMARILY women that have CFS and associted conditions.

my neighbour has had it for about 20yrs & i was diagnosed in 1998. imoved into the neighbourhood about 3 yrs ago by default to the knowlege of him having cfs. its been good to have someone who has it close by & our support has helped us improve somewhat.
