A stuffy nose can be due to allergies. Common allergens causing these symptoms are pollen, mold, dust, and pet dander. High eosinophil counts can also cause these symptoms. A deviated nasal septum or nasal polyps can also cause nasal stuffiness. A confirmed diagnosis cannot be made on the internet.

Please consult an ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist regarding this. Only taking medications for symptomatic treatment will not help. The cause needs to be identified.

Hope this helps. Take care!

Stuffy nose at night might be due to the nasal valve. Try tilting the tip of your nose up. See if that opens you up. If it does, tape it up gently. Also, sleeping on high pillows reduces nasal swelling. If you have thick phlegm and postnasl drip you may want to clear that up with pulsatile nasal irrigation.
There are lots of causes for stuffy nose. Allergy to dust is one that is quite common.
