Q: Causes for impotence
asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 12th, 2009
My husband can't get hard and stay hard during sex. Could he need bigger condoms because he's cutting off his blood flow or could he need a vitamin?

There are various causes for impotence. Sometimes the very tension of the expected performance or another type of stress can cause the problem. If your husband does not have the problem when masturbating then you might try relaxation techniques before the intercourse as well as longer foreplay before penetration.

If these suggestions do not help, then a complete medical examination has to be done to discover the exact cause.
