Your son is starting to masturbate, be glad that he is going to masturbate rather than be unsure sexually for the rest of his life. ServiceU do not make a big deal out of it, don't even talk about it. If your son approaches you, just tell him you don't mind and all kids his age do it. If you make him feel awkward or embarrassed he won't do it again, and that can lead to sexual frustration and or social awkwardness.

Just make them keep their doors open and take the locks off the bathroom, and check up on them at night or 'accidentally' open the bathroom door sometimes, so they don't feel comfortable doing it whenever they please.
