My question is if this is benign or if it is truly a disease. I mean, so I poop capsules. Do I need to find away to digest them, avoid them, or are they performing a benefit in removing unwanted fat?

LOVE!
Oh my goodness, I am so glad this is here.
I just learned about casein curds a couple days back. I have been eating tons of cheese like substances since I've been staying at my sisters (almost 4 months now) I was wondering what was wrong with me coz my menstrual cramps have been really harsh and cramping in that area seems to be constant now.
I look at my poop all the time for heath reasons and i noticed the hardened curds that look like sesame seeds for a couple months now, but lately have noticed the floating pods too, needless to say I was hella worried i might have an intestinal parasite. I will do my research on this casein intolerance and i hope my body can go back to normal

Thank you so much. I'm happy to see I'm not fighting this alone. For me I have had a chronic diarrhea (explosive) for the past 3 years. I've had surgery to try to figure out why, stool culture, colonoscopies, but everything comes back negative. I too have had these "pods". I always called them almonds. One comes out every day. Once that comes out it usually means I'm done for the day. I too have asked my doctors and they have no idea. So today I had an extra large one that was the size of a green grape and another little one. I have had enough. So I googled it and this is how I found you. My only question is, I've never had a dairy allergy or lactose sensitivity. Could it happen all of a sudden?

Soft Potato like Pods in Diarrhea
This is such a great forum and thank you for everyone leaving their comments and similar stories. My pods are similar consistency to a soft potato inside and I was so worried because I would see them in my diarrhea when I did not eat any potatoes and was so worried. I am a type one diabetic and take TONS of medicine in addition to my insulin and after reading everyone comments I think my medication is the reason I am having these pods show up. Thank you for being so open and sharing. Truly helpful!!

Thank goodness! I've been searching high and low, myself! I call them Fat Globules. That's what I thought they were, but I was never really scared because I always felt so much better after visiting the toilet! LOL! Thank you again. From a gal that's a native Texas...for 63 years! But they didn't show up until a few months ago for me. I'm guessing that our little visitors are NOT GMO-free!

Guys check your medication leaflet. Mine says ...

Do not be concerned if you see small white granules or balls in your stools after taking Efexor-XR. Inside Efexor-XR capsules are spheroids or small white balls that contain the venlafaxine active ingredient. These spheroids are released from the capsule into your gastrointestinal tract. As the spheroids travel the length of your gastrointestinal tract, venlafaxine is slowly released. The spheroid 'shell' remains undissolved and is eliminated in your stools. Therefore, even though, you may see spheroids in your stools, your dose of venlafaxine has been absorbed.

... I also did an experiment and put one pill over night in warm water and lemon juice. The result... That's exactly what I saw in the bowl. I'm so relieved that I'm not laying alien eggs!
