I know this sounds really vain, but as i have to wear these for a long peiod of time I was wondering if anybody knows of anywhere that you can buy an attractive splint/support. I'm fed up of the 'old lady's tights' coloured ones and the uber sporty black/blue ones. Any ideas where you can get one with a pattern or different colour to it. I'd like something that was a little more 2009 than 1889! Many thanks P x

If you're still looking...
I found some white sporty ones at Walmart. They aren't as long as some of the others, but work okay. They also use a plastic reinforcement instead of metal.

Thank you so very much....I am planning on going there in the morning...I hate the metal and messed up my wrist two days ago emptying books out of the library shelves...Sometimes I think I wake up taking a dumb pill.. glance .Best way to hurt your wrist is to use one hand and carry three books...My wrist feels like it isn't even attached to my arm...Back to square one...
