I have been told that I have a little touch of carpal tunnel in my hands and I was wondering if that is what is causing the skin to die on my hands and then the skin peels off leaving my hands very senitive and sometimes they bleed. I always use rubber gloves when I wash dishes or wash anything out by hand. I use moisterizing lotions on my hands also. I do not have a rash on my hands before the skin peels. Can you help me?

I never knew this happened with Carpal Tunnel until I read up on it today....From what I gather it is from the lack of circulation in your hands...Years ago my husband had a problem with something like this...The pharmacist told him to rub vaseline on his hands every night and wear a pair of cloth gloves that they sold...I think he would throw them away each day...Too far back to remember...They were like gauze and could breathe the air...You might want to try this...It helped him and eventually cured him...

This is a nasty affliction...It can show it's face and cause you pain for a few days and then disappear and be gone for a while...Keep up the covering your hands when around water...It is necessary in keeping them from drying out...You will have to see a Dermatologist, in order for you to find out about the skin dying and peeling on your hands....Not a GP, but a specialist....Good luck....
