My husband had lung cancer a year ago and since January the tumour has gone and not reappeared. But as his chemopherapy had stopped in the January he has not yet got his taste buds back neither appetite or smell. He was always cold, even in the car with a coat and hat on sweating me out with the heater full blast, he felt freezing! He had general small headaches. My husband previous to the cancer did suffer from back ache and does have ankylosis spondylitus but not showing problems on an earlier scan. Head aches started coming more and more and was having a stiff neck, Doctor said his neck was like rock any how the last month the head ache is getting much worse and since last week very chronic. He feels sick coz of pain and doesnt want to eat or drink. 3 weeks ago the oncologist gave a head scan and it came back clear of tumours. Yesterday one of the young intern doctors said they thought he had cancer in the fluid around his brain, what a shock. His lumber puncture was took yesterday and told its 15 days for a result? Have you ideas on what it may be. he has no numbness in face no confusion, no tingerling but he has had back pain for 3-4 years and general neck pain and his teeth are all painful but a dentist cannot find a problem. Could all this be from past injury or the dreaded cancer, any ideas as 15 days is a long wait and i need some hope.
