Q: Carbohydrate options

I was wondering if someone might be able to provide ideas for non-grain carbohydrates.

So far in my diet I have butternut squash as part of one meal, sweetcorn as part of another and carrots/broccoli for another. For the other meals I have grains.

Any ideas for carbohydrate foods that you don't have to eat a ton of to get anything out would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Veggies are good, and you'd be surprised how high in carbs fruit is. You could also add pease to that veg list, they're quite high too.

It sounds like you're getting plenty of carbohydrate. What's your goal here? Smile

I'm looking to sub out more grains and switch a couple more meals to just vegetables as a carb source.

Since starting the diet 2 1/2 months ago I've been getting weaker and weaker to the point where I am now unable to walk to work. I also experience some facial irritation, particularly in the mornings which may or may not be associated with the fact I eat oats and wheat at this time, which was the reason for the question.

*end rant

How many grams of carbs are you consuming a day? If you know...

And how many calories in total?
