there is a whole list that a recent counselor gave me of things to do to aide being able to go to sleep and stay asleep. some of the things include; no smoking 2 hours before you go to sleep, also when you are trying to go to sleep sit in a dark room with no lights on, use your bed only for sleeping and not studying for tests or things liek that, dont have caffeine 4 hours prior to trying to fall asleep, dont eat right before you lay down, try soothing wordless music...
