Q: Cannot straighten knees

Since my back conditon has made me not mobile I cannot staighten my knees after a series of back spasms.I cannot take my own weight.My knees remain bent at a 90' degree angle for over a year?

Your question involves the inability to carry your own weight on your knees due to a lack of movement over the past year.

It may be necessary to see a physical therapist to learn exercises that can be done in order to progressively strengthen the muscles surrounding your lower back and legs, so that you can restore your ability to stand and move around.
